He finally had to build something that could withstand the kicking, spinning and tossing that his trademark aluminum bass endures on a nightly basis. Funny, unpredictable and infectious are all fitting descriptions of this superior showman! Joe Geary - drums, Vocals Throughout his career Geary has been a long time favorite among American roots music lovers. A world class drummer who has received critical acclaim and toured the world extensively, Joe is the man who keeps The Gorillas groovin' relentlessly. No matter what happens! Hiro Suzuki - guitar A well known veteran of the New York Blues Scene, Suzuki effortlessly grooves his way through all of the various "Roots" genres that can be heard at a typical Gorillas' show. The crowd and the band egg him on as he takes center stage for a solo and tears the roof down every time! Hiro is an amazing musician, a charismatic performer, and a natural born Gorilla! He's not such a bad dresser either. Tim Veeder - Sax Our newest "Gorilla" comes all the way from beautiful sunny downtown Albany, New York. He has played throughout the United States and abroad in places such as Washington DC, New York City, Atlanta, GA, the Olympic Arena in Lake Placid, Mexico, Montreal and the Bahamas. What really matters is that the boy can blow and The Gorillas are happy to have him. As we speak, Crusher is schooling Tim on the fine art of bar climbing and reverse heckling.
