I was born in Canton, OH, November rd, . My father left when I was two, so my mother moved us back to Lebanon, IL where my grandfather and grandmother lived. I was always the outcast of my family, so I spent a lot of time alone, listening to the radio. I would sing along to every song, and by , was trying to write my own stuff, though abuse and neglect by my mother soon turned my focus to survival, and the life long search to be loved by somebody. I graduated High School in ’ , at the age of , and was forced by my mother to join the Army. It was in Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland, that I first picked up a guitar. I had months to kill there, and I learned a lot from the people around me playing, and as I progressed in my skills, I decided that playing cover songs was not the way to go for me, so I started to write again. For years now, I have been writing songs that come from somewhere inside my soul, for most of those years, they were songs to God, but after a meeting with Johnny McCollomb, an established name in country songwriting, I turned my sights to writing country music, and have had everyone I’ve played for tell me I belong in Nashville, TN. I have since been there and played at Fuel, Lyrix, The Commadore, and the Hall of Fame Lounge. I now live in Collinsville, IL. but realize I do belong in Nashville, maybe not because I’m this great talent, but because I left my heart there when I left, and I just can’t let the music stop.
