Musician Information
We're "The Retrotones". We're at our one year anniversary just about now, and we've definitely matured as a band.

We started jamming the January of when our alto sax player, Gruber, had the idea, "Hey! I can play with other people! In, I don't know, a band or something!" This was easier said than done, since Gruber had once played in , it wasn't really a band, but a group of sorts with trumpet/singer type Andy when the two were fresh out of sixth grade, but Gruber figured it was time to give it another try.

Gruber called up Andy over Christmas break and asked if he wanted to start something for Glassboro High School's Battle of the Bands. The two then enlisted fellow band geeks Tim, Matt, and Glenn to play trombone, guitar, and baritone sax, respectively. After the third time jamming in GHS's band room after school and asking about thirty seven people to fill in temporarily for drums, Elijah was invited to play and inexplicably stuck with it. After one bass player decided he had a real life and used said life to excuse himself from the now semiregular band practices, Lou, an old friend of Gruber and Andy who had wanted to be in a band since he was in the fifth grade joined on bass guitar in mid March.

The first ever gig was the sixteenth birthday party of Glenn's older sister on April th. Soon after the band began doing public relations with other bands and are now ready to play shows in the South Jersey area.
