Members of Band:	Strait Up is a variety band that covers a whole spectrum of classic and current music. The Band was formed in by Bassist/Vocalist Shawn Martin after returning home from twenty years of off and on touring around the world with the likes of "The Wails", "Pipestone", "Little Vito and the Torpedoes", and "Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show" to name a few. Shawn has recently added Randy (Ace) Fricke on guitar. Randy and Shawn actually started playing music together at the age of fourteen, and are finally reunited for the first time since nineteen seventy nine. Ace spent many years playing the LA circuit in the band "Lip Service", playing at all the legendary and historical HOLLYWOOD venues such as The Whiskey and The Troubador. Vocalist Shelby Martin also plays keys and Acoustic guitar, and brings vast experience in theater and stage to the band. Drummer "Bugs" comes from a family of drummers and has played with Milwaukee,WI based "Bad Boy" and "The Dave Rogers Blues Band". Bob Weeth rounds out the lineup on guitar, mandolin and vocals. Bob is an established guitar teacher and performer. Having both club and big stage experience as opening acts for bands like Starship, Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Steppenwolf, Kansas, Kentucky Headhunters, Lonnie Brooks, Quit Riot, Little River Band, Head East, Meatloaf, Foghat, Bad Boy, Bill Miller, and more, this band has what it takes to entertain a crowd of any size.
