Kaye Roze Jazz Affair - Brentwood, California
When Kaye sings, she tells a story from her heart. She says, “When I sing, it’s from my soul, who I am, you see the inside of me, no acting.” In the spirit of Judy Garland, she loves to entertain and is at her best in front of an audience. She calls her style “jazz with a cabaret twist.” Her wide vocal range allows her to manipulate her voice to sound like anything she wants from a gutsy blues and energetic swing tune to a passionate ballad to classical high tones to the smooth voice of a child. People call her “the little girl with a big voice.” This versatility allows her to sing almost any genre of song she wants but jazz and the standards are her love. Singing mostly pop and classical music from age five, in the early ‘ ’s Kaye fell in love with jazz and attended jazz vocal classes at DeAnza College with Roger Letson and at Jazz Camp West where there were many fine divas as instructors including Madeline Eastman and Rebecca Paris. Since that time, she formed a band called The Jazz Affair working with excellent “first call” musicians. She has performed in many clubs and restaurants, at hotels such as the Fairmont and Hyatt House; for corporations like Cisco Systems, Sony Electronics, Santana Row, Smart & Final; various festivals; yacht clubs; and other company and private events where they have been very pleased, as put forth in their testimonials. Kaye also was the winner of the talent search on the Norwegian Cruise Line. Her CD “I’ll Be Seeing You” is a composite of favorite standards, blues and show tunes accompanied by Doug McKeehan-piano, Seward McCain-bass, Tim Solook-drums, and Noel Catura-saxophone.

Campbell's Jazz Soup - San Rafael, California
Campbell's Jazz Soup plays a fun blend of jazz, blues, and swing. Leader Brian Campbell serves up a tasty stew of hot clarinet and swinging saxophone. Mixed in to provide a feast for the ears is bluesy guitar and driving string bass. To top it off we can stir in some hearty vocals. We play everything from mellow background jazz to upbeat danceable swing. The trio can expand to as many as seven members with the addition of such instruments as trumpet, drums, and piano. Our most popular configuration is a quintet composed of the trio plus trumpet and drums. If you want to dance, the quintet is the way to go! For over ten years we've played many events throughout the San Francisco Bay Area including weddings, festivals, parties, and corporate affairs. Click the More Information link below to hear a clip of us playing and check out our website (campbellsjazz[dot]com) to get additional sound samples and more info. Thanks.

Shampen - Los Angeles, California       Premier Member - Contacting this member is FREE!
My Name is Shampen, pronounced the same as the sparkling wine. I am a Keyboardist/Vocalist, The proverbial, "One Man Band" My music is so full, that I've been known to intimidate bands. :-) I don't use Karaoke tracks or Music Minus One media, all of my sequences are programmed by me in my 'State Of The Art' studio, MidiCity Sound. When you listen to the audio files on this press kit, this is exactly the way I sound on the job. I specialize in any special event that requires quality music. I have a repertoire of over 1,000 songs that range from the 1920's to the 2000's. From BGM to a full dance party, I am completely self contained, with PA system and all of the equipment needed to do the job. I also partner up with other professional musicians from time to time, so I can offer any number of musicians from myself, to a complete corporate 15 piece Motown review show band. To see a list of the songs I do, please Google my web page entitled: Shampen.com/Lizard.html "The Ultimate Lounge Lizard" Please know that I am a music professional, and that you can depend on me, to be on time, well prepared and provide your guests with quality music and a real good time. Best Regards, Shampen
