Danny B - Carlsbad, California       Premier Member
Though I love the standards, R&B and jazz, I love composing my own music. This well orchestrated original music has been highly influenced by others such as David Foster productions, and is unique and expressive. Because of this influence, and the resulting diversity in style, mood and tempo, each of these original compositions reflects a variation of musical influence and are exceptionally well suited for large stage appearances as well as intimate environments. Much of my creative process in these venues makes me well suited for film scoring and video applications. It is this creative aspect of the writing that makes my music so unique. Unlike much of what is expected in todays music, the compositions are happy, moody, expressive, and certain to entertain a large diversity of demographic audiences. I am currently working on producing a CD with all original songs.

Nathan Granner - kansas city, Missouri       Premier Member
Nathan Granner “…Granner makes each of his numbers an event. He's blessed with a commanding personality and a rich, resonant voice… perhaps more impressive are his control and finesse, the emotional logic with which he paces his solos, the way his singing takes on fresh timbre suited to whatever character he's singing…” Alan Scherstuhl, The Pitch Weekly, March 10, 2009 On his own, Sony/BMG Masterworks recording artist, Nathan Granner has received critical acclaim from The Boston Globe, The London Times, The New York Times, Opera News, Washington Post, and USA Today from his appearances as solo artist as well as from his leading role portrayals with the National Symphony Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Irish Radio Orchestra, the Tulsa Philharmonic, Opera Theatre Saint Louis, Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Wolf Trap Opera, Opera Tampa, and Tulsa Opera. He counts his characterizations of Ferrando in Cosi fan Tutte, Nemorino in L’Elisir D’Amore, Remus in Scott Joplin’s Treemonisha and Mr. Owen, Man With a Paint Box from Dominick Argento Wagnerian pastiche, Postcards from Morocco, in addition to being a Metropolitan Opera National Council Semi Finalist as his most outstanding achievements to date. During the 2005 – 2006 season, Nathan produced a successful double national tour, performing for nearly 33,000 patrons in 35 American cities, with classical guitarist Beau Bledsoe to support their recently released CD, Departure, and with Soprano Lisa Williamson in their “Waiting for Guffman”- meets-Anna-Russell-type comedic opera concert, I Dolci Canti. Mr. Granner has also been a force in the Kansas City Metropolitan area, working and collaborating throughout the community as an artistic director, a general manager and as an entrepreneur. He is co-founder and President of KCMETROPOLIS.org, Kansas City’s new online journal of the Performing Arts, an answer to the shrinking press coverage of the print media industry. In addition, Granner is creating a new role for a new major musical theater piece “Lost Lady With a Violin, written by Laurie Whitaker and is collaborating with composer Jeffery Ruckma on “Nathan Granner – Wee Small Hours – Variations on the 16 songs on the iconic 1955 Frank Sinatra Album” Also on deck is collaboration with composer Brad Cox on “Hymn - a new live production celebrating the history of the American Hymn”. He is also keeping an extensive national concert schedule.
