Byron and Barb Westerman settled near Branson, Missouri when Byron landed a trumpet gig with Bobby Vinton and The Glenn Miller Orchestra. Their colorful musical careers have spanned the globe. Byron retired from his position as Postmaster of Salina, Kansas to play lead trumpet for the the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. Barb began her career performing with the USO before launching a successful career teaching middle, and high school band and jazz band across Kansas. While teaching, Barb also played with several regional Big Bands across Kansas. The B&B Duo signature sound is produced by a mixture of background tracks created on a Roland Fantom Digital piano combined with Byron playing live on trumpet, flugelhorn, and piano and Barb on alto and tenor saxophones. They add velvety smooth vocals to many of their arrangements and enjoy an easy rapport with their audiences.
