| When Kaye sings, she tells a story from her heart. She says, “When I sing, it’s from my soul, who I am, you see the inside of me, no acting.” In the spirit of Judy Garland, she loves to entertain and is at her best in front of an audience. She calls her style “jazz with a cabaret twist.” Her wide vocal range allows her to manipulate her voice to sound like anything she wants from a gutsy blues and energetic swing tune to a passionate ballad to classical high tones to the smooth voice of a child. People call her “the little girl with a big voice.” This versatility allows her to sing almost any genre of song she wants but jazz and the standards are her love.
Singing mostly pop and classical music from age five, in the early ‘ ’s Kaye fell in love with jazz and attended jazz vocal classes at DeAnza College with Roger Letson and at Jazz Camp West where there were many fine divas as instructors including Madeline Eastman and Rebecca Paris. Since that time, she formed a band called The Jazz Affair working with excellent “first call” musicians. She has performed in many clubs and restaurants, at hotels such as the Fairmont and Hyatt House; for corporations like Cisco Systems, Sony Electronics, Santana Row, Smart & Final; various festivals; yacht clubs; and other company and private events where they have been very pleased, as put forth in their testimonials. Kaye also was the winner of the talent search on the Norwegian Cruise Line. Her CD “I’ll Be Seeing You” is a composite of favorite standards, blues and show tunes accompanied by Doug McKeehan-piano, Seward McCain-bass, Tim Solook-drums, and Noel Catura-saxophone. |

| On Air specializes in solid rockers that lean heavily toward the style of Chicago and Tower of Power. The band boasts a KILLER horn section and is members strong. The repertoire ranges from hot Motown and Rhythm & Blues to favorites by Steely Dan, Van Morrison and The Doobie Brothers. The group can also pull out lots of popular frat rock and also includes a smattering of jazz and swing. An On Air performance is a visual treat as well; the group's showmanship is as superb as the music itself. |

| Campbell's Jazz Soup plays a fun blend of jazz, blues, and swing. Leader Brian Campbell serves up a tasty stew of hot clarinet and swinging saxophone. Mixed in to provide a feast for the ears is bluesy guitar and driving string bass. To top it off we can stir in some hearty vocals. We play everything from mellow background jazz to upbeat danceable swing.
The trio can expand to as many as seven members with the addition of such instruments as trumpet, drums, and piano. Our most popular configuration is a quintet composed of the trio plus trumpet and drums. If you want to dance, the quintet is the way to go!
For over ten years we've played many events throughout the San Francisco Bay Area including weddings, festivals, parties, and corporate affairs.
