Philosopher Stone mixes several different styles of music including rock, blues, jazz, and reggae into our own style of music. In addition we have over cover songs that we can play. We are used to playing to hour shows.
Our sound changes from song to song. We have tunes that are almost red dirt country and we also have songs that sounds like straight up jazz. The sax and flute add to the jazzy flavor. Each member of the band has great experience and talent on their instrument(s).
We are a trio in the OKC area. We use an arranger keyboard and lots of layers to make our music full and rich. We can play unplugged for more intimate settings or we can "rock the joint". We are all veteran players and put on a fun and entertaining show.
