On his own, Sony/BMG Masterworks recording artist, Nathan Granner has received critical acclaim from The Boston Globe, The London Times, The New York Times, Opera News, Washington Post, and USA Today from his appearances as solo artist as well as from his leading role portrayals with the National Symphony Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Irish Radio Orchestra, the Tulsa Philharmonic, Opera Theatre Saint Louis, Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Wolf Trap Opera, Opera Tampa, and Tulsa Opera. He counts his characterizations of Ferrando in Cosi fan Tutte, Nemorino in L’Elisir D’Amore, Remus in Scott Joplin’s Treemonisha and Mr. Owen, Man With a Paint Box from Dominick Argento Wagnerian pastiche, Postcards from Morocco, in addition to being a Metropolitan Opera National Council Semi Finalist as his most outstanding achievements to date.
During the 2005 – 2006 season, Nathan produced a successful double national tour, performing for nearly 33,000 patrons in 35 American cities, with classical guitarist Beau Bledsoe to support their recently released CD, Departure, and with Soprano Lisa Williamson in their “Waiting for Guffman”- meets-Anna-Russell-type comedic opera concert, I Dolci Canti.
Mr. Granner has also been a force in the Kansas City Metropolitan area, working and collaborating throughout the community as an artistic director, a general manager and as an entrepreneur. He is co-founder and President of KCMETROPOLIS.org, Kansas City’s new online journal of the Performing Arts, an answer to the shrinking press coverage of the print media industry.
In addition, Granner is creating a new role for a new major musical theater piece “Lost Lady With a Violin, written by Laurie Whitaker and is collaborating with composer Jeffery Ruckma on “Nathan Granner – Wee Small Hours – Variations on the 16 songs on the iconic 1955 Frank Sinatra Album” Also on deck is collaboration with composer Brad Cox on “Hymn - a new live production celebrating the history of the American Hymn”. He is also keeping an extensive national concert schedule. |

Yari and his orquestra has played in the most important nightclubs in New-York, Chicago, Mexico DF, Anchorage Alaska, Arizona, San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas, Maui and Honolulu Hawaii, Palm Springs and of course Los Angeles at the House of Blues, The Conga Room, The New Century Club, The Rumba Room, The Mayan, Universal Studios, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Disneyland, The Hollywood Bowl several times for the Playboy Jazz Festival, also the Latin Jazz Festival, The RMM th Anniversary Show At the Madison Square garden nationally televised, the Festival Latino Americano in Verona, Italy. The Jay Leno show with Linda Ronstad, The Vibe with Simbad, with Celia Cruz and the Ritmo Latino Music Awards For The Telemundo Network as a musical coordinator for three consecutive years.
Yari has also enjoyed the successes of having performed with some of the most important 'salsero's' in the world. Such as Willy Chirino, Groupo niche 'El Rey Del Timbale' Tito Puente, India, Jerry Rivera, Marc Anthony, Jose Alberto ' El Canario' and many others. ' The Queen of Salsa' herself Celia Cruz choose Yari to be her official West Coast Orquestra for five consecutive years. Many producers has used Yari's vocal abilities to record several jingles for different products for radio and TV in the Latin market such as Budweiser, Miller Lite, Miller Genuine Draft, Corona, Coors Lite, Coca-Cola, Pepsi Cola, Mexicana Airlines, American Airlines, Folders, Bustelo, Knudsen, Scope, California Lottery, Ingles sin Barreras and many more. |

His talents have teamed him with musical legends such as Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, Ramsey Lewis, George Benson, Carmen McRae, Marlena Shaw, Jack Mcduff, Joe Williams, Stan Getz, Cannonball Adderly, Herbie Hancock, Grover Washington, Jr., Chaka Kahn, Donny Hathaway, Wynton Kelly and Eddie Harris, to name a few. He has performed extensively throughout the United States and internationally.
His credits also include albums, movie soundtracks and television commercials to numerous to count. Today, Mr. Upchurch still enjoys a very active performing career.
Sonya Maddox, CEO of WONDERVISION Music & Entertainment, has the grace and charm of a southern belle coupled with the confidence and allure of a Hollywood diva. This Atlanta-born, television, screen, and stage actor/songstress has become one of the most sought after, respected performers in the commercial arena.
