Contemporary Christian Rock.
Although Webster’s defines the term deadline to be the point in time at which something must be completed, this band is about new beginnings. The lead singer/guitarist Adam Canter is a former music scholarship winner to West Virginia Wesleyan College who leaves nothing on the table when he performs. Second guitarist Jay Pierson has been playing for as long as he can remember. Drummer and percussionist Marshall Fields, a transplant from Michigan, has a rhythm and style all his own. Completing the band is Bass player Steve Sayre, who is also a full time minister. Together they are bound by a common goal and desire: to spread the good news one song at a time.
The group is influenced by first and foremost Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, without whom we would be eternally lost. Musical herbs have come from many sources, of which Matchbox and Counting Crows would surely be included. All of these things, along with various other factors both claimed and denied, have brought forth the sound of Dead-Line: progressive contemporary Christian rock with an edge.
Their musical travels have graced the states of Florida, Ohio, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and West Virginia. Supporting their newest release, Let it shine, the band hopes to add all states to the list before the smell of a well-worn engine dissipates.
After spending time as a four piece we’ve decided that is the magic number.
Chuck has joined the fold and, with countless years of experience, anchors the driving sound of the band. With a wide array of influences Derobedeglobe covers classic rock modern rock and even some country.
