We are a small town, original band, from Northwest Arkansas. We consist of five members, Cory Carter-vocals, the frontman. Larry Smith-lead guitar. Canan Bullard-rhythm guitar. Chad Daulton-bass. Brian Sherley-drums. We live for music. Everyone one of us feel it in our heart & soul. We may live a small time life but all have big dreams. Our style is a mixture of Alternative, Hard rock & a little Heavy Metal. Everyone of us puts something into every song. Because our ages range from to , we each have a special style. An extremely energetic band, with a strong stage presence. We've shared the stage with acts such as-L A Guns, Psyco Stick & Squint-just to name a few. We are unique & stand out due to the meaty guitar's & louder than normal bass. We are a crowd pleaser. Nothing get's us going more than our fans head-bang'n right along with us. Without a Whisper is a dark-edged power group on the rise. Fans and scouts flock to see their harcore, energy-packed live shows.Without a Whisper got its start in early 2005 as a four piece hard rock band. The group played a handful of shows before undergoing a much needed lineup change, that has now formed into the much needed breath of fresh air for the Midwest Music scene. Lead guitarist Aaron Straub and bassist John Burnett chose Pamela Thompson to fill the lead vocalist position. Pamela came into the group fresh off of winning first place in the Starlight Charity Ball competition (judged by Paula Abdul) by beating 50 of Arkansas best female performers. Pamela was the blessing that the band had been seeking for so long.
In 2005, Without a Whisper had four out of five songs from their June 2005 released EP already regularly featured on numerous state wide commercial radio stations, including Hot Mix 101.9 (KMXF) and New Rock 104.9 the X (KXNA). Look for their full length debut album "Caught In the Fire" Summer 2006!!
Without a Whisper performs throughout the states of Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas. The group was recently chosen to open for national acts Cherry Monroe (Universal Records) and Frickin A (Toucan Cove), The Myriad (Floodgate Records) and Revelation Theory! After many years of performing as a solo act, Mikey Needleman recruited two more musicians to converge for one purpose: to bring Mikey Needleman music alive in a way that fans have never experienced before.
The Mikey Needleman Band was formed in the Summer of 2006 and quickly gained much recognition and praise from critics. The band is made up of Mikey Needleman on Guitar and Lead Vocals, Bill Hurrelbrink on Bass
and Brent Owens on Drums.
Mikey and Brent had been working for many years together, but nothing came of their colaborations until recently.
Bill And Mikey had shared stages many times in the past in different projects so the addition was a natural one.
All of the members have been very active in different aspects of music all of their lives, so the chemistry between all three members yields ecclectic ideas and sounds. With open minds, The Mikey Needleman Band approaches music in a
way that many other succesful bands approach music; anxiously persuing a connection between the music and the fans.
