| A sibling rock band determined to share their message and experiences to the world. W g and expressing their thoughts through songs that are simply real. Against The Season originally hailing from California now resides in Salt Lake City,Utah. Tiare, ,Lead guitarist was inspired by rock music at an even earlier age and discovered her musical talent on the guitar. Kelela, , Shared the music playing the bass guitar. Both young teens also contributed the lyrics on all of the songs. Donnie, , playing the drums starting at the age of years old has become a prodigy at his age. Mika, , the eldest of the four and newest member of the band plays the rhythm guitar and shares his talent of arranging the music. Together they are out to share their music to all who love and respect rock music and in the midst of this gigantic music industry, Against The Season truly stands for one thing.....Be Yourself!!

| Born and raised on a small farm in a small town in the majestic Utah Rocky Mountains, singer/songwriter Jake Jacobson was not surrounded in a music rich environment. Barely able to pick up radio in his home town his major influences would come at a much later time, but as he always said, “nature never fails to influence.” Jake took up singing as many do during his mid-teenage years. Only during his junior year in high school however did Jake pick up the guitar and write his first song. During his seninor year he joined his first band and performed at a local Battle of the Bands as well as at the year end talent show as a solo vocal act for the entire school. As a self-taught musician, Jake never learned to read music or had a lesson until his college years. He still writes everything by ear and has said that “learning to read music and learning music theroy is very valuable, but great music that flows and inspires comes from a still place inside each of us, and not the cluttered and loud logical realm of the mind. It is this still quiet space in all of us that recognizes this same music.” Jake now resides in Salt Lake City, where he plays at regular gigs in the valley. Jake's loves to perfrom live and can either electrify us with a very high energy, high intensity peformance that is turely captivationg or sarinade us with his low soothing voice. And he isn't afraid to interact with the crowd while onstage; joking and getting everyone involved. All in all, Jake's music is charged with melodic soundscapes and big beats all originated from an organic mahogany and steel stringed guitar. All this tied together with a voice that's sultry, yet reaches up and into the deepest of places and begs us to hear the message within... |
