On Air specializes in solid rockers that lean heavily toward the style of Chicago and Tower of Power. The band boasts a KILLER horn section and is members strong. The repertoire ranges from hot Motown and Rhythm & Blues to favorites by Steely Dan, Van Morrison and The Doobie Brothers. The group can also pull out lots of popular frat rock and also includes a smattering of jazz and swing. An On Air performance is a visual treat as well; the group's showmanship is as superb as the music itself.

Campbell's Jazz Soup plays a fun blend of jazz, blues, and swing. Leader Brian Campbell serves up a tasty stew of hot clarinet and swinging saxophone. Mixed in to provide a feast for the ears is bluesy guitar and driving string bass. To top it off we can stir in some hearty vocals. We play everything from mellow background jazz to upbeat danceable swing.
The trio can expand to as many as seven members with the addition of such instruments as trumpet, drums, and piano. Our most popular configuration is a quintet composed of the trio plus trumpet and drums. If you want to dance, the quintet is the way to go!

My Name is Shampen, pronounced the same as the sparkling wine. I am a Keyboardist/Vocalist, The proverbial, "One Man Band" My music is so full, that I've been known to intimidate bands. :-) I don't use Karaoke tracks or Music Minus One media, all of my sequences are programmed by me in my 'State Of The Art' studio, MidiCity Sound. Clients are offered a free consultation meeting (in person if close to Eugene, OR; over phone or through e-mail if not) to discuss my services, music that should be played and any other details that will need to be gone over before the event.
