The Blue River Big Band of Fort Wayne and surrounding areas is a thirteen piece band consisting of saxophones, trombones, trumpets and piano, bass and drums (vocalist also available). The Blue River Big Band prides itself in being one of the most versatile big bands in the area, performing both traditional swing music with style and class and also newer music such as rock, funk and Latin with high-energy.
The Blue River Big Band has performed in a variety of venues in the past including several years at the Three Rivers Festival in Fort Wayne, Columbia City's Old Settler's Festival, dances with the Warsaw Ballroom Dance Band Association and many others.

West of Chicago is a band performing great songs from the past throughout the Midwest. Our nine-member ensemble, featuring a superb four-piece horn section, offers a tribute to the legendary band Chicago - and much more!
We cover great Motown tunes from artists like Gladys Knight, The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, and many more. On any given night, you can hear us knocking out classic hits like “Mack the Knife,” “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’,” and “Spinning Wheel.” You’ll also hear funk, like The Trampps’ “Disco Inferno,” and early rock hits like “Vehicle” by Chicago’s own Ides of March.
We have assembled some of the finest musical talent in the business, and we all have a passion for the music we’re presenting. If you catch one of our shows, you’ll find yourself dancing, singing along, and enjoying yourself as much as we do!

Frederick Is a nationally recognized vocalist, percussionist, and writer with over 37 years of performance experience. Frederic recorded his first single on an independent record label that reached #48 on the Billboard Top 100 Black Singles. Frederick has played in some of the hottest Jazz clubs and has opened and performed with such world-renown acts as "Sax man Kim Waters, Ashford and Simpson, Gladys Knight, just name a few. Frederick is an all around entertainer for all occasions. His voice drips with soul on both originals and covers. He creates Latin percussions and his connection to the music is deeply expressive,exuberant and rich. We call ourselves a rock band because we really don't know how else to define a band with as much diversity in influence as we are. Fusion would be the second guess.
