Our philosophy is simple: the music has to be good, and it has to be fun…we perform for the audience’s enjoyment. Traditional and original bluegrass songs are blended with grassed-up versions of songs from other genres, making for dynamic sets that have something for everyone. A range of vocal talents and harmonies give us great flexibility.

Driftwood is a 5 Piece band, containing, a lead Guitarists, Rythym Guitarist, Drummer, Bass Guitarist and Sound Engineer. Combined with their back up vocals, they produce one of the fullest sounds in the area, performing Old and New Country, Rock, Southern Rock, Alternative as well as their own cutting edge originals. Their high energy show, always inviting audiance participation, makes this one of the hottest bands in the area.
Flatt Out is a high-energy bluegrass band combining traditional, contemporary and original music with a generous helping of fun. The band knows what they are there for - to entertain - and they do!
The band is fairly new but the members have a lot of experience.
Banjo player Eugene Crabtree has played with the James King Band, East River Boys and others.
Randy Crittenden (Dobro) and Mike Nicely (guitar) have been in the East Virginia bluegrass scene for years, most recently with "Made From Scratch".
Bassist Daniel Clarke is another East River Boys alumnus.
