Comprised of some of the best and most versatile players around, trumpeter/vocalist Bill Averbach brings it home with vintage jazz, blues, swing and jumpin’ jive from the ’s to the most contemporary. Influenced heavily by artists such as Cab Calloway, Louis Armstrong, Louis Jordan and Louis Prima the band plays that jumpin’ jive so reminiscent of zoot suits and two-tone shoes. And when they play that New Orleans sound you can almost taste the creole and gumbo at Mardi Gras.
