Anyone who saw Duke in the s (Washingtonians) or Goodmans incarnations in the s knows that special time when a genuine sound is about to explode. You can feel Angel and his Demons undeniably dynamic freshness in every song; they cause feet to tap and heads to turn wherever they play. Minday Aptheker is the Lead Vocalist who has had experience performing in the theater,as well as spending a good deal of time singing as the Leader of a Disco band in The New York area during the late 1970's.
Both individuals joined forces in 1995.With the combination of Mindays original mezzo -soprano voice and Robert's multi-instrumental talent,they have helped make "Aptheker" a household name,here in there home town and abroad.
Minday Aptheker-Vocalist,has many years of acting and singing experience.Well versed in vocal theory,proper technique and improv.
