Take R&B, infuse it with a shot of Funk, add a dash of Hip-Hop, fold in a smidgen of Jazz, and top it with a sprinkle of modern Pop/Rock and you've got 12" REMIX, a six-piece ensemble of seasoned pros based here in Los Angeles. Featuring strong lead vocals with tight harmonies backed by an incredibly funky rhythm section, members of 12" REMIX have played on national tours and recordings with many well-known (and some not-so-well-known) artists and continue to do so today. Two of our vocalists also played lead roles in the national touring companies of several Broadway musicals.
No matter the size of your event, we can provide the appropriate musical accompaniment -- from a guitar/vocalist duo to our standard six-piece "Club Crew" to a big band with brass and saxes to our "Premier" ensemble with 7 vocalists, Latin percussionist, brass and full string section. Swing Essence has been a favorite of Colorado dance fans since 2004. Based on the idea that people of all ages love to dance to the classics, this group selects material from the 1930's to the 1990's, based on popularity, choosing those that really swing, groove, or rock at the top of their class. Just as important, the music is always arranged specifically for their 7-piece format.
