Suffer the King is a Christian band interested in spreading the word of God with a unique, hard-hitting sound. The members of the band have played in other, secular bands that didn’t provide the gratification of knowing that the Lord had been honored with their sound. The band makes no apologies for their message or their aggressive sound. We hope that people are “touched” by the songs to the point they begin examine themselves and find the true meaning of life: to worship and bring praise to God and His Son, the King of Kings.
Memorable lyrics, up-tempo drum beats, pounding bass lines, raunchy guitar riffs, and passionate stage presence create FIST TO THE SKY! FIST TO THE SKY has played in several towns and events including Clearwater Theater, North Beach, Penny Road Pub, Wheaton Grand Theater, Stratford Mall, The Nite Light Cafe, all kinds of fest's and carnivals and have taken many st place Battle of the Bands competitions around the Chicagoland area.

The Signal is a rock band from Champaign/Urbana, Illinois. After a year of almost endless line up changes, including a new lead singer, The Signal has finally come across the right combination of talent and personality. The Signal will play a show almost anywhere. We never demand any kind of guarantee. Our goal is play as many shows as possible around the mid west, and eventually across the nation, to expose our music to as many people as possible.
About one year ago we started playing together in my living room. We started just jamming for our small living room audience of mostly nobody. Throughout that year we developed our own style of music that is original and authentic. Our main goal as a band is to glorify and honor Christ our Lord and Savior! We believe that God uses music in a powerful way to reach many people.
After a ton of discussion we decided to call our band, Life Beyond Shadows. It basically means you can find new life and a new hope if you are willing to come out of the sinful life that you’re leading now. That’s the message we want to bring to the world through our music.
I am looking forward to the many opportunities God has for us working in this industry.
