In Chad had a vision. A vision of a band that has a purpose. The mission of the band will be to serve God, talk about Jesus and create an atmosphere to examine truthfully your relationship with our Savior. The Gift was born.
The band has diverse influences, Trace Adkins to Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix to Hank Williams Sr., P.O.D. to Evanescence, Robert Johnson to Grand Funk Railroad, and Tim McGraw to Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Chad started the band with family members, wife, sister and brother-in-law. The Gift through personnel changes has changed from a family band to a band that is truly family. The band has been successful at accomplishing its mission b before it ever played a show and the future holds more victories in the name of Jesus. God is ever faithful.
The Gift has diversity. The members have a range of musical experience with
various other bands and genres. Also, the members attend various churches.
The music reflects this diversity as the writing is done collectively. The lyrics
are straight to the point and are doctrinally correct .The Gift’s music is hard to
put into a nice neat box. Our diversity and reliance on God’s providence is our
appeal and strength.
The band has played prisons, youth groups and various church functions.
But, any event is possible as long as it falls into our criteria. The only criteria
for where we will play is we have to lift up the name of Jesus and the gospel
After many years of performing as a solo act, Mikey Needleman recruited two more musicians to converge for one purpose: to bring Mikey Needleman music alive in a way that fans have never experienced before.
The Mikey Needleman Band was formed in the Summer of and quickly gained much recognition and praise from critics. The band is made up of Mikey Needleman on Guitar and Lead Vocals, Bill Hurrelbrink on Bass
and Brent Owens on Drums.
Mikey and Brent had been working for many years together, but nothing came of their colaborations until recently.
Bill And Mikey had shared stages many times in the past in different projects so the addition was a natural one.
All of the members have been very active in different aspects of music all of their lives, so the chemistry between all three members yields ecclectic ideas and sounds. With open minds, The Mikey Needleman Band approaches music in a
way that many other succesful bands approach music; anxiously persuing a connection between the music and the fans.

Ren our lead singer just came back from California were he completed our demo, working with legends like the guitarist louis Carlos (currently playing with Anna Nalick, platnium columbia artist). Tom Hogan on bass also playing with Anna Nalick, and Scott Underwood (Drummer for the legendary "Train"). this album was recorded at Golden track studios with the help of Steve Weatherbee both the studio and Steve are responsible for the first three albums of the mega band P.O.D. we are greatful for them believing in us and taking on this project.
Stonewater recently made the finals for 94.7 the buzz march bandness, where we were the runner ups. and is consistently ranking in the top ten most popular bands in Oklahoma on myspace. There has been a massive explosion of fans and support for StoneWater and we have some big things in the works, stay tuned as each new chapter in stoneWater's carer nfolds.
i normally play by myself with a female voaclist that also play the piano, we do have a full band but not all of us play unless wanted too, we like to be notified a month or two befor a performance so we can get stuff togeather, we normally play for free unless we need new equpiment or have a long way to travel b/c of gas
