This is a young band, interested in youth gatherings but has been highly successful with all age groups. Extremely high energy, yet able to transition into very intimate worship. Familiar with top 40 Christian rock songs, but also has extensive worship background. All band members are part of the prestigious Commercial Music Department at South Plains College in Texas. Highly skilled musicians and singers with professional attitudes. Very serious about the work God has called them to. Will travel with or without sound equipment and are trained to run it. Use in ear monitor system to cut down on stage volume. Katalyst knows how to rock the house, but is also sensitive to their environment and will not be offended if there is a need to turn down. Ren our lead singer just came back from California were he completed our demo, working with legends like the guitarist louis Carlos (currently playing with Anna Nalick, platnium columbia artist). Tom Hogan on bass also playing with Anna Nalick, and Scott Underwood (Drummer for the legendary "Train"). this album was recorded at Golden track studios with the help of Steve Weatherbee both the studio and Steve are responsible for the first three albums of the mega band P.O.D. we are greatful for them believing in us and taking on this project.
Stonewater recently made the finals for 94.7 the buzz march bandness, where we were the runner ups. and is consistently ranking in the top ten most popular bands in Oklahoma on myspace. There has been a massive explosion of fans and support for StoneWater and we have some big things in the works, stay tuned as each new chapter in stoneWater's carer nfolds.
