| Keith's musical career was no accident. As a third generation musician, Keith holds his own as a lead guitar player. His Grandfather, "Pick" Mansfield was a guitarist for many of the "Big Bands" in the 's and 's. His father, "Dick" Mansfield, was a jazz guitarist in the New York area in the 's. Keith formed the "Blue Sky Band" in Colorado Springs, Colorado and toured Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, and Arizona for three years before coming back to the Dallas area in . Upon his return to Dallas, he started up the "Keith Mansfield Band". Since then, the band has played many venues including Southern Junction, Calhoun’s, Cutter’s, Lone Star Café, W.W. Fairfield’s, Hank’s Bar & Grill, and The Top Rail.
In Keith entered the Wolf’s . songwriter’s competition and was one of the top ten finalist in over , entries from across the. His song “Without You” has been well received and displays the talent he has as a songwriter. The band has opened up for great acts such as Brad Paisley and Blake Shelton, and Texas greats Neal McCoy, Deryl Dodd, Jack Ingram, Cooder Graw, and Asleep at the Wheel. The Keith Mansfield band has also headlined fairs and festivals, corporate events and private parties all over the Southwest.
Keith has worked with many musicians seeking the right combination for the band. With the musicians and vocal talent that currently make up the band, he now has the smooth harmonic relationship that works. Keith's aggressive approach as a lead/rhythm guitarist and the unique vocal talent he displays as a singer promises deliverance of great and entertaining music and a promising future for the band. |

band based in Dallas, Texas. We play a great variety of music including: Jazz and Standards, R&B, Disco, Current Pop and Country, Oldies, Classic Rock, and s- s.
Nu Groove specializes in weddings, private and corporate events. We have a long list of satisfied customers and referrals from Cappella Court, a wedding facility in Dallas, Texas to corporations such as Abbott Laboratories and Miller Brewing Company. Part of our speciality is catering to the clients needs, which includes learning special songs for the clients event, DJing during any band breaks and Emcee services for all special announcements. We also understand the goals of club, venue owners and entertainment directors. The party never stops!
For wedding clients, Nu Groove can also provide musical services for your ceremony such as a vocalist and/or acoustic guitar or piano/keyboardist.
