| Raised on the plains of Oklahoma, Chad Trout was born in country music ,and when only six years old, began singing in his father's ensemble, The Desert Okie Band. Growing up performing at places like the Tulsa State Fair, Route Theater, V. F. W. Clubs, Cains Ballroom, The Oklahoma Opry and much more. At the ripe age of twelve he made his first television appearance and, by the time he was seventeen, had made his mark in his home town, by having his own radio show on Oklahoma's KREK,and performing on Green Country's KTUL Channel (Good Morning Oklahoma). After seeing Chad perform to a standing ovation at the Muskogee Civic Center, Grand Ole Opry star the late Del Reeves took Chad to Nashville and recorded demo's that led to a developmental recording deal with Mercury Records. Although originally brought to Nashville as a country prodigy, Chad rebelled against his southern roots and aimed his sights on blues, pop, and rock songwriting. Chad's brother, Travis, followed the lead, transforming degrees in Genres. Together they hit the club circuit and found great success. Over the past years, they have been critically aclaimed as one of the best local acts in Nashville. The crowds grew, the word spread, and as time approached, AOL's project, digitalcity , named them a hitpick and gave them a glowing reviews. Trout has shared the stage with such legends as John Berry, Lisa Brokop, Keith Urban, Terry Clark, Bellamy Brothers, Del Reeves, Tammy Wynette, Jeanie Sealy, Sammy Smith, The Texans, and the Texas Playboys, and countless others. "Making music, and entertaining people is a love that I was born with, because I have been doing it all my life. I began performing in public at a very early age. Thanks to my dad, I had the opportunity to perform in bands, and shows all across the southern region. He eventually " stuck me out front", and encouraged me to pursue a career in music. I became part of the band when I was six. I moved to music city when I was , and have been working on all kinds of projects from country to pop/rock. Now days, I work with my brother Travis T g songs, and performing live. Travis over the years became not only my partner in music, but a wonderful producer, musician, songwriter, and engineer to work with. Through the wisdom of my family, and many great friends, I have been blessed with a wonderful journey, that I call my life! These inspirations flow through me, and take the form of music. My current project " Soul Repair" has been a spiritual journey for me, and I invite you to listen, and find a bit of yourself in it!" |

"What kind of material do you perform?"
My catalog contains a couple hundred hit songs that are evenly spread between Rock, Pop, Country and include material from the s, s, s through present. I provide appropriate material for anything from an elegant Wedding Reception to a "get down with it" birthday party to a headliner act at any corporate, charity, or sponsored event. My clients have said that my presentation will work for practically any age range and I work tirelessly to provide exactly what your guests want; an enjoyable evening.
My instrumentation is usually live vocals and guitar, paired with my professionally-produced backing tracks. For Wedding Ceremonies, I usually provide piano music. Other instruments and/or singers are available upon request. I'm here to serve and will provide exactly what you want.
"What are your credentials?"
My musical credits are diverse and include + years on The Grand Ole Opry, numerous major Artist credits, large concert venues, Network TV/Radio, Weddings, Receptions, Birthday parties, Corporate meetings, Tradeshows and countless other private functions. You name it, I've entertained there.
"How do you get all that sound with just one guy?"
I start with songs that have been "hits" for the artists who originally recorded them, then record the band parts at my home studio; drums, bass, keys, backing vocals, etc. After recording, I add the new song to a laptop computer that has special performance software. The computer helps me to instantly fill any song request. When a guest asks for "Doobie Brothers" I can hit a few keystrokes and it's ready to roll. It makes for a seamless presentation that keeps the music (and the fun) rolling along. This software also displays song lyrics, allowing me to invite guests to take the mic to "be a star". Including guests into the performance is a sure-fire hit and it works, every time. Just ask my clients.
"What equipment do you use?"
I use the finest sound system available, made especially for Solo Entertainers, the "Bose L System". Of all the sound systems I've used, this one wins hands down. The system is extremely compact and melts into the surroundings.
For lighting, I typically bring a light tree with a sound-activated controller. This gives a great little light show that rounds out the polished, professional look and sound that today's audiences demand. Details are crucial in entertainment and I try hard to make certain everything is absolutely perfect for my clients. |
