Where were you in the 80s?
Battling a bad case of Pac-Man fever?
Puzzling out the secrets of the Rubics Cube?
or enjoying the spoils of Reaganomics?
Whatever your memories,
The Pop Rocks will bring them all
flooding back with a smile--and a backbeat
you won't be able to resist.
The Pop Rocks play the ultimate New Wave hits
from your decade of decadence.
From R.E.M. and U2 to Soft Cell and Modern English.
every song is an instantly recognizable hit,
(even if you don't always remember the band that
performed them.)
From the birth of new wave and the dominance
of synth-pop to the ragged edge of rock and
the dawn of alternative,
the Pop Rocks cover it all. Just don't call it
"retro"--the Pop Rocks are powerful proof that
the music of the 1980s is "Alive anfd Kicking!"
The band is available for any venue,
largest Theatre to the tiniest intimate setting.
With the aid of modern technology The group is
able to reproduce pristine sound quality that
can really
be a relief to gentler ears or maybe you're just
hoping to not run patrons out of your otherwise
perfect environment. This band can be quiet as
a mouse or as loud as a jet engine? Is this the
same technology that Milli Vanilli employed you
ask?
NO! Even though the Pop Rocks employ the use of
Digital Instruments and amplifiers, this is not
an Ashlee Simpson performance. The players are
skilled and ready for any situation. But, all in
all It is not about volume as much as CLARITY.
We will not hurt your ears even at 120 Decibles
(roughly the volume of the aforementioned jet engine.)
The Pop Rocks are even available for formal events!
(Just give us a little extra notice, It is a band after all)
