Featuring strong lead vocals with tight harmonies backed by an incredibly funky rhythm section, members of " REMIX have played on national tours and recordings with many well-known (and some not-so-well-known) artists and continue to do so today. Two of our vocalists also played lead roles in the national touring companies of several Broadway musicals.
No matter the size of your event, we can provide the appropriate musical accompaniment -- from a guitar/vocalist duo to our standard six-piece "Club Crew" to a big band with brass and saxes to our "Premier" ensemble with vocalists, Latin percussionist, brass and full string section. I am a Keyboardist/Vocalist, The proverbial, "One Man Band" My music is so full, that I've been known to intimidate bands. :-) I don't use Karaoke tracks or Music Minus One media, all of my sequences are programmed by me in my 'State Of The Art' studio, MidiCity Sound. When you listen to the audio files on this press kit, this is exactly the way I sound on the job. I specialize in any special event that requires quality music. | Formed in , The Royals of San Diego are committed to the recreation of the East Coast street corner sound from the s and s known as Doo Wop. They refer to themselves as an "East Meets West" group thanks to their origins. Peter and Kevin are from the East Coast (Massachusetts and New Jersey respectively). Dan, Jim B, and Jim C are from the West Coast (California for Dan & Jim C; and Arizona for Jim B).
Their songs have been featured on oldies radio shows on sites such as KLAV AM , RockItRadio , and GoldOldies .
They have performed in Doo Wop shows in San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Phoenix with some of the era's greatest legends; it's no wonder why they're often billed as "West Coast Acappella At Its Best"!
