classically trained pianist since age , Kala Farnham began writing her own music when she was years old. Since, Kala has written a large collection of piano/vocal music and has copywrighted originals. Her song "Eight Months" was voted the number Alternative song on the IAC Picks list by the Independent Artist Company, a website based in California and created to support independent artists. "Eight Months" also reached number on on the KIAC Radio Alternative Chart.
Besides writing her own music and covering her favorite bands, Kala also enjoys singing opera and playing classical/new age piano.
