Roy Harkey - Plano, Texas
Solo musician, vocal and guitar. Roy has done a very successful "one man show" in Las Vegas for two years. He played bass for Ike and Tina Turner in their early years, and has played for Bonnie Raitt and other nationally known artist since the late 90's.
Roy has a very large musical repertoire, and covers most musical styles. He enjoys playing Easy Listening Music, Ballads, Folk, Folk/Rock, Rockabill, Blues, Old & New Country, DooWops, and Golden Oldies. He can "mix" enough different types of music during his sets to please everyone in the crowd. He has high quality instruments and PA sets that will handle any sized venue, from large halls and outdoor events to parties in private homes.
With a soulful, raspy voice cutting through an atmosphere of melodies, Blake Lankford stands comfortably between rock and a soft place. Months before the release of his debut album, the single 'Broken' has already climbed to #1 on multiple Broadjam Top Ten Charts--including Best Indie/Low-Fi Single, Best Up-Tempo Single, Best Rock Single---and also gained Lankford recognition as one of the top three artists in Oklahoma (Broadjam.com).
Currently, you can find the singer/songwriter voted as 98.9 KISS FM's Homegrown Artists of the Week all over the OKC scene, performing at venues such as Bricktown Brewery, Tapwerks, Toby Keith's, UCO Jazz Lab, and Lumpy's to name a few.
