Captain Henderson's Midnight Jazzmen originated in the fall of on the campus of Henderson State University, located in Arkadelphia, AR. The band started out with a quintet and soon added vocals afterward. So far, the Jazzmen have been asked to perform for banquets, private parties, local venues, and even a private, in home, concert. As of now, the Jazzmen are looking forward to broadening their horizons and their audience to the Central/Southwest Arkansas area, primarily Little Rock, Arkadelphia and Hot Springs. We are the Osmonds band and have played all over the world with them including playing on their recent DVD release filmed live at Londons Apollo Hammersmith arena which went to #2 in the UK. Pogo Funk originated in the fall of 1999 as an idea of bringing an original sound to St. Louis. We started writing material that ended up coming out as a fresh mix of hip-hop, funk, and rock-based guitar riffs. We started really putting our nose to the grindstone to keep coming up with music for people to enjoy. We released our debut ep, The Sound From The Underground, in 2003. Since then we played numerous clubs in and around the St. Loius area like Mississippi Nights, Pop's, The Red Sea, Hi-Pointe, The Galaxy, and even Cicero's on an open mic night once. We have done charity events such as "Muzak Gumbo", a benefit concert for Hurricane Katrina Relief, and "Green Jam II", a concert for environmental awareness. Now we continue to play and write new music to keep our fans happy and have a blast doing it. New cd out early 2007.
