We are very different but in a good way. Our blues influences are evident but we present it in a different way. It has a good feel because of the acoustic guitar and smooth lead vocals. Also we write all of our own music.
There's a lot more to Nelson's Folly than meets the eye or the ear. The music that these fellas create is truly unique in many ways and shows a balanced mix of individual styles. In a live performance, most of the songs are original material, with a few tribute songs and instrumental movements. They've been known to throw in some classic "Zombie" as well as Live and Widespread Panic, to name a few. The songs that Nelson's Folly writes range anywhere from classic rock to jazz to their own bread and butter, the infamous "Pirate Rock".
