Novena was formed from the ashes of the band Evendeeper. Blending multiple genres, it is hard for one to define the sound of the band. Evendeeper was formed in late when two childhood friends Brad Hensley and Seth Robertson decided to get together (after previously playing in several situations together) and work on recording some electronic influenced music with two guitars, two drum machines, and a four track. Within a few short months they had added Sam Hawkins on drums and Will Smith on bass. As Evendeeper, the band was featured on local radio shows on stations such as . , . , . , . and TTU's . . One of the highlight's of the bands' live performances came when they got to perform at . 's BUZZFEST . The band was thrilled to be able to perform alongside such diverse acts as Sevendust, Tricky, Ben Folds, Custom, Mesh, Doors Down, Nickel Back and several other up and coming bands. Several shows later, and a lineup change (Sam at this point decided to front his other band, SoulSkin) band enlisted the help of musical prodigy Tony Bradford. Tony brought an energetic, caterwauling style to the band's sound. The new incarnation of the band debuted as Novena on Halloween of . While still playing several Evendeeper songs, the band has taken a bit of a stylistic departure with some of their new material. Regardless of the genre-jumping the band displays, there is always cohesiveness to the overall product, and there are sure to be a few curves along the way. We're playing Fuse TVs’ Bodog's battle of the Bands!!!!! At The Rutledge, Dec. in Nashville. Round ! With a chance to win , , dollars! We have to make through a couple of rounds. But we could be video taped during any of them for the show on Fuse.. We need everyone and their grandma to come out buy tickets and vote for us at the shows. So we can make it on the TV show. we started out as a three peice band and we giged for two years,then we added another guitar player from wva all of the band members are writers and composers of the orginal music it ranges from ballads to somewhat of a grunge to an alternative
CHOPPER is a three-piece rock/metal band from Atlanta, GA. George Asimakos sings and plays guitar, Colin Mee sings and plays bass, and LaMar George plays drums. They play a style influenced by classic rock and metal (e.g. Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, Led Zeppelin, Motorhead, Jimi Hendrix), as well as modern hardcore and metal (e.g. Converge, Mastodon, Entombed, Unsane).
CHOPPER has played The Drunken Unicorn (Atlanta), The Earl (Atlanta), Tasty World (Athens), The Star Bar (Atlanta) as well as many other clubs around town. George played guitar in Blame Game, who did their fair share of touring around the East Coast and Midwest, and were well-known around the Atlanta indie scene. Colin Mee was in Deerhunter, who has done several U.S. and European tours. LaMar has been in a few bands (LUST, DEVASTATOR) that have done several U.S. tours as well.
CHOPPER is ready to tour the southeast and east coast. They plan on going back out on the road now that their full length LP is out.
They have their first 7 inch record out on Die Slaughterhaus Records (the same label that put out The Black Lips' first few releases and some of The Carbonas' records). Their debut full length, Born To Ride… Or Die, has 10 songs that embodies heavy metal and keeps your head banging all the way through! With heavy riffs and lots of melody, this album will keep you listening with its raw power and explosive energy. Born To Ride… Or Die is out now on Darkwolf Records. The vinyl will come out on Die Slaughterhaus Records.
CHOPPER has been playing together for about 2 years. Their Atlanta fan base is growing quickly. Each show has a larger audience than the last. They have shared the stage with Deerhunter, The Black Lips, The Spooks (members of The Black Lips and Deerhunter), American Black Lung, Thank God, Gaye Blades (members of the Black Lips), Dsyrythmia and The Coathangers, to name a few.

We cover upbeat dance songs as well as modern rock. we'll keep the party rockin all night. Playing everything from the classic's to the hits of today, this band knows how to show people a good time. neurotic is a sonic blast of energy that will leave you trembling, yet warm & fuzzy all over.

The colors of K.O.A. are an unidentifiable sort. They are always ready for a challenge and a show to prove they are worthy. They bring a certain contour shaping their identified sound. With vocal patterns and ambient styles of guitar chords from Joe Cramer and Shawn Tucker playing an enchanting indie rock style on the bass and Jonah Colson's alternative/metal upbringing pushes this trio into a new spetrum, one that can be felt when just meeting the three together.
