| What happens when you take Funk and Hip-Hop and knead it into a dough, slather it with Reggae, dust it with the Blues, sprinkle it with Jazz and pepper it with Rock? Some people might dub it a mess, but Central Florida calls it Semi-Soul.
Born in the ashes of tired rock bands, Semi-Soul is a phoenix with a line-up that is nine strong.
Founded by Drummer Phillip Cannoy, Bassist Shayne Campbell and Guitarist Charlie Wells, Semi-Soul adds sugar and spice with vocalist Erica Ayala, the hip to the hop, the ground shaking percussion of Eneix Frankenburger and the flavorful accents of lead guitarist Neil Wicker.
Last, but certainly not least is the smooth sound of TJ Alcock on Baritone and the bombastic blast of Walt Cannoy's trumpet, that together add the distinctive flare of authentic funk.
Only two years old, Semi-Soul has performed at a number of venues throughout Central Florida including, The Social and Hard Rock Live in Orlando.
Semi-Soul has but one goal, to put the FUN in FUNK and to keep that booty shakin'. |

Boths side Were lived The good & The Bad Having their start professionally in the Miami Bass music era, working and performing with such artist as Quad Force, Party Boyz, Skin- -win, Gucci Crew, Luke, Disco Rick & The Dogs, Mc A.D.E, MC Shy-D to The Legendary Devastator -X, these brothers have been around from almost day one! Either on the creative side of song ideas, to engineering, producing and even writing, these artists have had their hands in some of everyone's projects from the start!
Having done independent singles and songs on various compilations such as "Sonic Boom Bass in Yo Face" & The Party Boyz Album featuring Dj. Tranz (Ride Out). After various hardships and trials of 'take advantage of the new artist' disease,We picked OurSelves up, dusted off and continued on becoming ghost writers led by the eldest brother Sly "Pyper" Jordan, who after linking up with friend Kevin Hall (Rondor Music), went on to write and produce for such artists as Jaheim, Donnell Jones, Debra Cox & more!
Even with Doing Certain Projects We still endured the ups and downs of ghost writing not receiving credit for songs wrote,Long Delays of Royalty Checks & Plenty of Bills You KNOW!
Tha PieceMakerz were able to overcome the obstacles put before them by realizing what is missing in Music & Business Strategy - UNITY.
They eventually went on to write for many more artists like but not limited to: The Mighy O'jay's, New Edition (That's Why I Lied), Jessica Simpson (Fly), Kelly Rowland (Train On the Track) the Maid in Manhattan Soundtrack, Slang Dat Bottom (Bring It On Soundtrack previously on Bass in Yo Face) to more recently writing on TIMBALANDS' New Album ShockValue (Bounce), Shareefa (Mr. Incredible) & much more.

Our solution is we have decided on putting out our own Music, because Music has meaning that influences peoples' way of thinking, and if you put hate, lust, & beef in the minds of our youth then you will get the never ending result which is what we are witnessing now!
