| Novena was formed from the ashes of the band Evendeeper. Blending multiple genres, it is hard for one to define the sound of the band. Evendeeper was formed in late when two childhood friends Brad Hensley and Seth Robertson decided to get together (after previously playing in several situations together) and work on recording some electronic influenced music with two guitars, two drum machines, and a four track. Within a few short months they had added Sam Hawkins on drums and Will Smith on bass. As Evendeeper, the band was featured on local radio shows on stations such as . , . , . , . and TTU's . . One of the highlight's of the bands' live performances came when they got to perform at . 's BUZZFEST . The band was thrilled to be able to perform alongside such diverse acts as Sevendust, Tricky, Ben Folds, Custom, Mesh, Doors Down, Nickel Back and several other up and coming bands. Several shows later, and a lineup change (Sam at this point decided to front his other band, SoulSkin) band enlisted the help of musical prodigy Tony Bradford. Tony brought an energetic, caterwauling style to the band's sound. The new incarnation of the band debuted as Novena on Halloween of . While still playing several Evendeeper songs, the band has taken a bit of a stylistic departure with some of their new material. Regardless of the genre-jumping the band displays, there is always cohesiveness to the overall product, and there are sure to be a few curves along the way. We're playing Fuse TVs’ Bodog's battle of the Bands!!!!! At The Rutledge, Dec. in Nashville. Round ! With a chance to win , , dollars! We have to make through a couple of rounds. But we could be video taped during any of them for the show on Fuse.. We need everyone and their grandma to come out buy tickets and vote for us at the shows. So we can make it on the TV show. | The Lyrik Assassinz formed in the summer of by members Rhythmatik, excelling at diverse insane "razor blade slang" J-Dizzle, with his "in your face flows" and L-P, bringing an old school hip hop flavor. Creating fast paced, lyrical flows combined with real life meanings the group was destined to stand out from all of their competitors. The group then added Rhythmatik's younger cousin Bones Da Blood at only age , to whom added another unique style and dangerous, open-minded freestyles to the addition, L-P dropped from the group due to a crazy work schedule, school, and many other things. Not much later the group then added a very unique emo/punk singer to the group Gilbert Contante, which made the group even more unique than the rest. The Lyrik Assassinz hooked back up with L-P just recently and rejoined forces to become even stronger than before, forming the Assassin G now the reign beginning the "Assassin Dynasty" |

| Emeka- The name alone says different- the sound proves it. This Nashville raised hip hop artist does what only so few artists today are able to accomplish- appeal to multiple audiences. Emeka combines several different aspects of the hip hop/ rap genre, and creatively fuses them together into one style that can only be described as unique. Rather than going with the traditional “cookie cutter” rap image, Emeka approaches the industry with a fresh new look and sound. Listeners have said that he has his own category and sound, and often garners comparisons to the word play of rap icon, Common, with the creativeness of Ludacris. He has been regarded as one of Nashville’s best kept secrets, and possibly the next big artist! Emeka says that now is the time that he will emerge from the shadows of other emcees and make a name for himself. As of recent, Emeka has been doing shows in and around Nashville and in various cities in the southern region with requests to travel to places in the east coast and west coast. He is also beginning to gain international attention on the underground level. His intention is to assure his audience and listeners that “The hype is real!” Audience members have stated that there is a certain force that draws one in and holds them captive during his performances. Emeka has been doing songs for not only himself, but also doing remixes for local urban clothing stores such as Phatkaps, Inc. with others lining up to have to a song personalized for them as well. Real confidence- sometimes mistaken for conceit- and a pure passion drive this rare breed of emcees to push the envelope with songs like “I’m Fresh”, which is heating up several indie internet radio stations such as Area , WSOUF and Too Hot Radio . Regional radio stations such as Top station Kick . in Cookeville, TN, Hip Hop station . in Chattanooga and WTST in Nashville (TN State Univ. radio) are playing Emeka’s material as well. The song is currently being added to radio stations outside of the southern region as well such as Wild . in San Francisco! DJs such as DJ Don Juan (G- Unit South), DJ Bryant D (Black Pearl DJs), DJ Aries (Hood Hard DJs) and DJ Dre (Legion of Doom), DJ Smallz(Southern Smoke) and several others have also added this song to their mixtapes with the follow up street smashes, “Trendsetter” and “Do Tha Thang”. Emeka is beginning to show up on mixtapes that feature not only local artists, but he is also starting to brush shoulders with the likes of Jay-Z and Cent on mixtapes. Fans have begun to log on to e /emeka and show their appreciation for this artist and his new music. All the factors combine to make a unique artist that everyone is beginning to appreciate.
