Two of our vocalists also played lead roles in the national touring companies of several Broadway musicals.

I am a Keyboardist/Vocalist, The proverbial, "One Man Band" My music is so full, that I've been known to intimidate bands. :-) I don't use Karaoke tracks or Music Minus One media, all of my sequences are programmed by me in my 'State Of The Art' studio, MidiCity Sound. When you listen to the audio files on this press kit, this is exactly the way I sound on the job. I specialize in any special event that requires quality music. I have a repertoire of over 1,000 songs that range from the 1920's to the 2000's. From BGM to a full dance party, I am completely self contained, with PA system and all of the equipment needed to do the job. I also partner up with other professional musicians from time to time, so I can offer any number of musicians from myself, to a complete corporate 15 piece Motown review show band. His talents have teamed him with musical legends such as Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, Ramsey Lewis, George Benson, Carmen McRae, Marlena Shaw, Jack Mcduff, Joe Williams, Stan Getz, Cannonball Adderly, Herbie Hancock, Grover Washington, Jr., Chaka Kahn, Donny Hathaway, Wynton Kelly and Eddie Harris, to name a few. He has performed extensively throughout the United States and internationally.
His credits also include albums, movie soundtracks and television commercials to numerous to count. Today, Mr. Upchurch still enjoys a very active performing career.

| I am a Santa Barbara-based singer, pianist, and guitarist available to perform for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hour and receptions, parties, anniversaries, bar/bat mitzvahs, corporate events, fundraisers, wine tastings, or any special occasion. Music is my life work and passion. I have loved music all my life and have been performing since I was in my early teens, professionally for the last or so years. As a performer I hold myself and the musicians I work with to the highest professional standards and always put my heart and soul into everything I do.
I sing and play (solo or with other musicians) in a variety of styles from jazz standards (Great American songbook; the repertoire of Tony Bennet, Sinatra, Diana Krall, etc.), as well as more contemporary styles ( 's to the present) from smooth jazz, rock, blues, funk, latin, New Age, reggae, music theatre, country, and traditional and contemporary folk songs including Irish and Spirituals.
