Born in Africa's infamous Ivory Coast, Agoussi has eperienced musical culture at it's foundation. Charles Agoussi started his musical career back in the late 's to be exact. When he decided after hearing the lyrics to Grand Master Flash's song "Message" it inspired him to start writing his own songs. In doing so he found himself defeating the odds against him in contest aftercontest with writing his own lyrics and impromptu. Through much prayer and looking within himself and God, he found the way, "Now when I see people going through their test, I am learning that it's not about me, It's about God, and following his path. It causes me to be sensitive to peoples needs, and to be aware of Envy and Violence." What seperates Charles Agoussi from other artists is his ethnicity, feel and Multi languages in his music. Which creates a Genre of it's own through his versatility, not to mention the Breath of Fresh Air of Lyrics with Meaning behind them again.
