Jim is also a SAG/AFTRA actor who has appeared in three episodes of "LAW & ORDER:SVU", most notably playing a featured jury member on the episode "STRAIN"(original airdate Oct. , ; has aired several times on NBC and USA network--SEE EPISODE "Strain" AGAIN MARCH , at PM E.S.T. on USA NETWORK).Jim has also appeared in 'HITCH' with Will Smith; been on episodes of 'HACK' on CBS and a 'SEX & THE CITY' episode on HBO(third to the last show, final th season); he's starred in many stage musicals as well, playing Jesus in 'JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR' and many other roles. He is available for private parties whether corporate or residential and year-round wedding receptions(including ceremony music--he played Church Organ for years and did numerous wedding ceremonies). He can does primarily solo work on piano and vocals or with his double keyboard setup and acoustic guitar (sounds like a full band since drums and bass are programmed in keyboards). | This was our first album and this being a learning process, there are some things we may have done differently and some things we are pretty proud of. For a band (in its current formation) that has only been together for a short time, actually putting out an album was a huge step. There is often a misconception on what it takes to be a successful band. Getting together to create and play music is the easiest part. You’re doing what you love. When you have musicians as talented as we do, you often come up with some great stuff. The difficult parts are battling addictions, egos, incarcerations, girl problems, low times, slow times, over looking the general negative bull shit and just trying to stay together.
That being said, after all the struggles, this is our Album Lessons. "If they were easy they'd be forgotten." We were on a limited budget so we couldn't really waste time in the studio recording every song. Instead, we decided to choose songs which would highlight all of our influences. The result was an album with a mixture of styles including Rock, Reggae, Drum & Bass, Funk, Acid Jazz, Ska, Punk, Hip Hop, Go-Go, Jungle, Trip Hop and probably some other stuff. We felt each song gives a glimpse of us as a group. That’s the Big Hurt. different individuals with many different personalities that have remained together long enough to put out an album. Only the future can tell what's next...........

| I’m a conga player based in the Downingtown, PA area with over years behind the skins. Just wanted to introduce myself and explore the possibility you may have need for a percussionist at some point or know of a group that may. I have pro gear ( LP congas, a big djembe, bongos, scrapers and shakers, etc.), my own mics and cables, and reliable transport. I have a reliable, on-time. professional work ethic and have played the suburban circuit for a few years in a variety of bands and groups. I’m willing to be a walk-in percussionist for a gig and am open to a permanent relationship. I will dress appropriate to the event (I have a tux for wedding/corporate/ private gigs) and play all genres including covers as well as Latin and Afro styles, world/ethnic, blues, alt. soul, funk, etc and can improv/accompany just about anything that comes up. minute mp demo “montage” available.
