| Lyxx formed in May when guitarists Adam Tempkin and Andrew David and the bands prior vocalist decided to combine their love of s metal with a desire to rock the NYC club scene. After several personnel changes, bassist Russ Tyler and drummer Mark the Sorcerer Dara joined the project in and , respectively. Vocalist Jay Braun, Lyxxs most recent addition, joined the band in June and completed the current lineup.
Lyxx melds incredible musicianship with a strong sense of fun, playing some of rocks best music like they wrote it and getting fists pumping in the air at every show! Although emphasizing kick-ass s hair-metal, Lyxx was formed to let its members play what they love fans are treated to an ample helping of s Glam (Mott the Hoople; T. Rex) and s Thrash (Megadeth; Slayer) mixed in with arena-rock favorites like Kiss, Whitesnake, Dokken, Def Leppard and Journey.
