Professional Acoustic Guitar Duo specializing in high quality live music for weddings, corporate events, birthdays, anniversaries and any special occasion. Shows feature vocal harmony, intricate guitar, harmonica and percussion to songs from oldies, Motown, country, bluegrass, blues, and classic rock to current hits. All equipment, DJ and MC service (announcing wedding party, etc) are included.
We call ourselves a rock band because we really don't know how else to define a band with as much diversity in influence as we are. Fusion would be the second guess. We focus on solid rythyms and emphasize melodic overtones, resulting in a hell of a show! Give us a shot, you might like us so much, you'll want us back...

Starting out as "South 40" guitarist J.R. Sumner, drummer Lou Avlia, and bassist Chuck Ozment were fed up with auditions and rehearsals with people who just didn’t fit their style and vision. Johnson City's punishing scene is difficult enough for young and uncompromising bands as it is; the longtime trio of friends were at their wits’ end.
Then they discovered vocalist Mike Jones , and everything changed.
Together they formed a new name for the band with him: South Of Sanity.
Shortly after the addition of Michigan rocker: Chris Galloway really brought the band closer together in live performance. We now hae a solid band! So for those of you that have seen these masterminds at work it is obvious that they truely are........South of Sanity!!!

FLUX is a high-energy rock/punk band that will cover anything from 80's, 90's, and most modren rock songs designed to keep you on your feet. Our main goal is to ensure you have fun and keep the party rockin. Most of the newer songs are straight out of the box, but we add a little flare of modern heaviness to some of the older selections. We also have a few special originals up our sleeves we pull out when the time is right.
