Heavenwind started out many years ago with a few friends playing songs from Whiteheart, Petra and others at church retreats. After high school, we all went our separate ways, but God has always kept me thinking about Heavenwind itself and the dream of putting a band together to play Christian rock for the masses. Basically, it was to be a Christian cover band that was no holds barred, and played straight up Christian rock music for all to hear. As time went on, God started bringing interest back into the Heavenwind project and brought together the founder and a lead singer. From that, God actually re-vamped the project itself and turned it into a ministry where Heavenwind morphed into Heavenwind Ministries. The newly morphed version goes to different churches and venues and plays a mixture of praise and rock music, adds a message and biblical references, into an all-encompassing show.
