Comprised of some of the best and most versatile players around, trumpeter/vocalist Bill Averbach brings it home with vintage jazz, blues, swing and jumpin’ jive from the 20’s to the most contemporary. Influenced heavily by artists such as Cab Calloway, Louis Armstrong, Louis Jordan and Louis Prima the band plays that jumpin’ jive so reminiscent of zoot suits and two-tone shoes. And when they play that New Orleans sound you can almost taste the creole and gumbo at Mardi Gras.

The Marlinaires are Jack Marlin, daughter Michelle, and son Chris.
Michelle is an accomplished vocalist at home with any genre of music and
with a personality that enamors her to audiences of all types and ages.
Chris is a former Marine who lends his guitar playing skills and hard driving
vocals to the group providing both lead and harmony when needed. Semper Fi!
Jack is a multi-instrumentalist who uses his guitar and banjo playing,
along with some trick fiddling, to lead his family in a great all-around music show.
All three share the MC duties.
Variety is their forte’ and they continue to please audiences of all ages
everywhere they travel, as you will see on their introductory DVD. They perform a
wide assortment of pop, rock, country, and novelty numbers that will be sure to
please a wide array of people.
