Our Funeral Forgotten performs some of the most impressive alt-rock you'll hear around town (Colorado Independent Newpaper.) Sounds like HIM, Angels and Airwaves with a touch of Classic Johnny Cash. Live show is a must to see. Edgar Allan Poe meets rock.
We portray an aggression through music, write songs about being in a strange, modern world and have powerfull rock guitars to help get through our feelings. We have been in this current band for 2 years but have been playing for around 5.
Hell hath no fury like The MIGHTY 18 WHEELER. Growing up from their Rockabilly tinged chops of the past, the boys sound has gotten heavier over the last couple years. In evidence from the latest release "Charmed Life". Bobby Smith(Guitar) and longtime sidekick Jimmy Kolodziej(upright Bass) have carved out a Metal Billy approach that wavers somewhere in between Eddie Cochran and Motorhead. Lateset addition to the band is drummer Gt Skragg, a veteran of the Denver music scene. Expect anything at a MIGHTY 18WHEELER show. The music is loud, The clothes are loud, and the primal energy never stops.
Picture AC/DC with pompadours. Nuff said!
Feel the difference. In a world where “genre” leads to distinction, this band would be hard pressed to classify because they dabble, but they are rock at the core. Circle Number Dot has cleverly chosen their name to stand out and poke fun all in the same breath.------------Emerging from the embers and developing a new band, Matt Card put away the drumsticks and decided to head center stage. With Brandon Thorne at bass guitar, Lawrence Wemmel at drums and David Barks Jr. at guitar the band was complete and in prime condition to record it’s first CD, which was released at 3 Kings Tavern November 1, 2007.-------------Their oddly refreshing lyrics such as “I’m A Disaster” and “Set Fire to Water” that relate to the public with their raw, relentless, rock driven edge and will keep you coming back for more shows. The guitars giftedly wailing will give an indication that rock will never roll down a hill. This difference is noticeable and Circle Number Dot is building a loyal fan base here in Colorado and is ready to let you feel the difference at its next show ..............bio writen by Lisa Brockmeier.
