It is impossible to place Juno Vesta in a category amongst millions of artists plagued with intentions to gain wealth or popularity. Juno Vesta is a band with the drive to be heard and enjoyed amongst all who are willing to listen. Although there are many genres to broadly explain their style, Juno Vesta can only be described as a rock band striving to make new and interesting music that will continue to "rock your socks off." Juno Vesta started in April of when bassist Dan Nonweiler convinced friend and guitarist Logan Ramirez to set up a jam session with drummer Mitch Washebek. They soon found that they all shared a common interest in making new and original music that was unlike anything else or anything popular at the moment. Due to personal conflicts, bassist Dan Nonweiler left the group in August of . Fortunately, Logan and Mitch had planned for this occurance and within a few weeks, after Dan's departure he was replaced with bassist and long time friend, Jason Coenen. As well as Jason, they also decided to add guitarist and vocalist John Lenz to their lineup. Juno Vesta today is as strong as they have ever been. They still have set plans to release their debut album in the fall of .
Horse To Water, a band stemming from Chicago, started when Joe Bishop – vocals/guitar – and Johnny Gagnon – drums – hung out and boarded to the tunes known as punk rock. Influenced by the styles of Anti-Flag, to the harmonic distortion of Cap’n Jazz, and the pure energy found in Bear Vs. Shark. The seed that grew into Horse To Water was planted and grew quickly, the band members having backgrounds such as eight years of guitar under the belt of Joe Bishop. He then encouraged Johnny Gagnon to master the drums and they soon become a two-man team. The two young kids, knowing that music was a strong link between them and a shared love for the art form, jammed out for years without knowing where it would take them. They had a feeling that whatever they were doing was something big, however, and added Andy Bishop to the roster, Joe’s younger brother. He, wanting to learn bass, became the third member of Horse To Water. Soon after along came Rikki Baudino. Shredding at a young age. Bringing the onstage shananagins.The four friends, influenced by similar music ranging from Bear Vs Shark, The Mars Volta, Fear Before The March Of Flames, Q And Not U, and French Toast, worked together to form what is now Horse To Water. But, they were in need of a fifth and final member in order to tie the band togethe with influencal punk roots, straight from St. Louis Marc Bannes. With one ten-song album under their belt, and the second album ready to release, the band is breaking barriers, playing shows, making good music, and they’ve only just begun.
We arent here to be someone we thought was cool. We are a band that trys to strive for perfection and have a blast while doing it. Our live shows are full of energy and crazy antics. We have been a band now for just over a year and in such time we have played over 40 shows. We have shared the stage with many friends and even a few larger acts in the music business. We arent here to try and make money and fame, we are here to make friends and do what we love most in life.

One of many rising bands in the Chicago area, Murfey's Law has found a way to stand out among the rest with their lively energetic stage presence and their unique and adrenalized version of pop punk that combines the straight-ahead rapidity of The Offspring with the quirky glory of Chicago’s own Lucky Boys Confusion & Fall Out Boy. (Cow, 2007) After growing tired of covering simple punk music, Murfey's Law was formed in the summer of 2005 by Tim Crawford (guitar/vocals), Trent Halverson (drums) Allen Murphy (bass) and Chad Sands (guitar). The four high school boys combined their vast range of musical interests and hit the local music scene, quickly catching the attention of many anxious fans waiting to hear something more than the cliche ear-shattering hardcore scene. After playing small shows at local VFW's and park district centers, their fan base began to grow, leading to immense popularity in the local scene. Feeding off of the positive response in the Chicago area, Murfey's Law released their first EP, "Sold In The Summer," and are planning on heading back to the studio to record their next EP.
Fernando Lives is a tight group of Joliet rockers that have played together in many different incarnations since 1995. Not in it for fame or money, Fernando Lives is just a group of regular guys in their mid 20's playing music for the sheer love of it. Their sound might be best described as "Chicago Style Punk" injected with hints of grunge, R&B, and pop metal. Each member of the band brings their own style to the table which is evident in each song they write. Being together as Fernando Lives for almost 4 years they are now playing shows all around suburban Chicago. The band is looking to expand their audience with their first official CD release, "American Astronaut".
