| Take R&B, infuse it with a shot of Funk, add a dash of Hip-Hop, fold in a smidgen of Jazz, and top it with a sprinkle of modern Pop/Rock and you've got 12" REMIX, a six-piece ensemble of seasoned pros based here in Los Angeles. Featuring strong lead vocals with tight harmonies backed by an incredibly funky rhythm section, members of 12" REMIX have played on national tours and recordings with many well-known (and some not-so-well-known) artists and continue to do so today. Two of our vocalists also played lead roles in the national touring companies of several Broadway musicals.
No matter the size of your event, we can provide the appropriate musical accompaniment -- from a guitar/vocalist duo to our standard six-piece "Club Crew" to a big band with brass and saxes to our "Premier" ensemble with 7 vocalists, Latin percussionist, brass and full string section. Your party's music will be as intimate, funky, or elegant as you desire.
Our repertoire is extensive and varied. From the Beastie Boys to the Bee Gees, Destiny's Child to David Bowie, Gladys Knight to Garth Brooks, James Brown to John Cougar, Prince to Patsy Cline. No matter what your musical tastes, we will work with you to create custom playlists that suit your event's specific theme or mood.
