| The Crosswalk Band plays a good mix of classic country, gospel, and 50's & 60's rock. We have six performers in the group. Members ages range from 18 to 80. There is apprx. 180 yrs combined total years of music performing experience in our group.We combine the smooth sounds of Merle Haggard and the moan of George Jones to the high energy of Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard, along with the beautiful female sounds of patsy Cline and Crystal Gayle. In the Crosswalk Band's lineup of instrumentation is one 12 string guitar, one electric lead guitar, a harmonica, bass guitar, the drummer, and 3 voices, 2 male and 1 female. |

| For a moment, close your eyes. As you listen to Hypothetical, take in the words, the feeling, and the intention of the song. It's a relevant song and many different people with many different experiences can pull from the lyrics and relate in some way or another. On the same level, it is discriptive enough to paint a visual image in your head and create (or recreate) some experience you have had or currently experiencing. The ending resolves, both musically and lryically to evoke a sense of hope and strength that was absent before. I am unbreakable. That is the power of music.
Music is the Universal Language. It breaks all barriers, unites people, and for those who write, record, and perform it, it is an outlet of creativity and soul. Music takes time, and we take that time so that the final product is something that we are satisfied with and proud of. Room is about the music- and we hope that as you listen to what we have recorded, that somehow, on some level, it means something to you. After all, isn't that what its supposed to be about?

We also want to give you the best live show we can. We want you to be able to plug in to the experience as a whole and leave feeling that you were able to enjoy not only the music, but the lighting, mood, and flow of the show. Rest assured that no matter what size or type of venue you see us perform in, we always give an audience our best.
We are open for booking and we are interested in any geographical location. At the very least, we always use sound clips to transition from song to song, making for an almost theatrical effect. Also, we always decorate the stage (per approval thru the appropriate channels) with fabrics & candles. We are also able to be a supporting act for another band you have perfoming at your venue. | The Old Dogs are a Detroit classic rock/soul/funk cover band. From Seger to Stevie Wonder, from Tower of Power to Grand Funk, the Old Dogs play a wide-ranging repertoire. Not the usual classic rock cover band, The Old Dogs lean toward the "deeper cuts" from great bands and artists from back in the day. Rather than emulate a jukebox of the same old standards heard thousands of times, The Old Dogs prioritize musicianship and showmanship in order to deliver a night of invigorating, infectious rock and soul via a constantly evolving repertoire. | we were started by the lead and bass guitarist (though the drummer will say differently) when we had our instruments and decided to play after church (fbc vandalia, w t!) and we knew Brian played drums so we decided to start something with that, we eventually picked up kevin, though we cant remember why, and he became our sucky rhythm guitarist, (if he screws up, i sneak behind him and unplug him) right now Tyler and Steve are singing, badly, becuase we havent been able to get our prospective singer at a practice yet :-( oh yeah, and were all or years old, idk if that's important but, there it is. |
