Here are what two recent clients had to say about hiring Narrow Gauge:

Dear Jim,

We were very happy with your services. You took care of all the set up and tear down as well as any issues during the night. This goes for the cocktail/dinner music as well. All of your musicians were really friendly and flexible ( i.e. having 6 girls up on stage to sing) and your fun attitude was much appreciated. You also did an excellent job keeping the wedding on track (i.e. getting the dancing started) without pressuring us to follow a time line exactly. Most importantly though, the music was great and there was never an empty dance floor....or even a sparsely populated one! It was by far one of the best parties I've been to, and to have it be our wedding too was more that we could have asked for."

Thanks,

Kyler and Emily Brown

Dear Gigleader,

Thank you Gigleader for leading us to such a great band for our wedding! Narrow Gauge was the perfect fit. We had looked all over and could not find a band that we thought would fit our guests. We love country music and so did many of our guests, but there were also people who liked a variety of different genres of music. Narrow Gauge played to the crowd and kept the dance floor packed all night. We had so much fun that we even hired them for an extra set! Narrow Gauge was easy to work with! Jim was so helpful in helping us plan our reception. We had all the details worked out weeks before the reception, so I could try to relax! He even MC'd the event for us. They let several of our guest sing on stage with them, and even let Steve, my new husband play bass on one song. He doesn't even know how to play bass, but somehow it sounded great. During their breaks they had DJ music pumping through the dance floor, so even when they weren't playing, our guests kept dancing! It was truly a night to remember. Thank you Narrow Gauge for your professionalism and talent. You were so phenomenal! We couldn't recommend you more highly!

8om - Loveland, Colorado
Not just another rock band, formed in late 2002 by guitarist Ross Ryan and singer Brian Kato (bassist Zach Newton and drummer Jason Jojola round out the band), 8om has been paying its dues as an independent act for quite some time. In their 4 years together, the band has done alot, from self-booking and promoting their own tours, living out of a van, dealing with a line-up change that would have ended most bands, self-financing two EPs and one full-length (The Pink Of Condition" - 2004, "Between Consiousness and Dreams" -2005 and "All The Things You Can't Leave Behind" -2006), and gaining regional radio play, to performing opening slots for national acts such as Crossfade, 30 Seconds To Mars, Lostprophets, Mushroomhead, VAST and Strata. Hard at work from their homebase of Loveland, CO, the boys are crafting the songs which will appear on their "yet to be titled" full-length album and plotting a 2007 U.S. tour. With a new sound, a fresh perspective and the help of producer Eric Greedy (produced Hurt -Vol.1 - capitol), 8om is prepared to set the world on fire.

Dysorder - Loveland, Colorado
DYSORDER is a 4-piece thrash/speed metal band that has been involved in the Colorado local music scene since 1993. Like a lot of things in life, things seemed to be rolling along nicely until the band suffered a major setback. Losing their singer/guitar player, DYSORDER found itself in limbo. Within months, the original singer from the band's early days as Malfunction returned. It was at this time that DYSORDER changed their music philosophy to concentrate all time and talent into writing and playing original music. After less than a year, DYSORDER was assaulting all of Colorado with their newfound energy and music. DYSORDER released an album in 2001 "Why This Life" and began a fast paced playing schedule hitting most of the clubs in Ft. Collins, Denver, and surrounding areas. Opening for the Dave Brockie Experience (featuring members of GWAR) and being live on KBPI's locker room were some of the highlights. The album received great reviews from Maris The Great and Throat Culture Magazine. It also earned airplay on KBPI's The Pitt. In early 2002, while gearing up for another year of kicking ass, DYSORDER the word struck agian. Boys will be boys and the band went through a major overhaul. After losing one of the founding members and letting the entire rhythm section go, the remaining members, Jason Grass and Stacy Huwig, had the difficult task of deciding on calling it quits or beginning the painful process of rebuilding a new DYSORDER. The search brought us to some new blood and inspiration from a younger drummer, Casey Glass, helped breathe new life into the band. Once again, DYSORDER found itself playing every weekend and writing new original material. Now in 2006, DYSORDER finds itself with new music to play, a new album on the shelves, and a new bass player, Sonny Calderon, joining the "family." The band has gone through a lot over the years. Having to deal with an ever changing "cast of characters" during the hard times, but always keeping the desire to play in the heart. Having trimmed the ranks from 5 to 4 over the years, DYSORDER is done waiting. Dysorder is complete and full of dedication to do what we do best. With new energy, new music and a new album, "Flame of Population," DYSORDER is booking shows and planning to come to a town near you. DYSORDER is coming! DYSORDER is coming!

THE MIGHTY 18 WHEELER - Longmont, Colorado
Hell hath no fury like The MIGHTY 18 WHEELER. Growing up from their Rockabilly tinged chops of the past, the boys sound has gotten heavier over the last couple years. In evidence from the latest release "Charmed Life". Bobby Smith(Guitar) and longtime sidekick Jimmy Kolodziej(upright Bass) have carved out a Metal Billy approach that wavers somewhere in between Eddie Cochran and Motorhead. Lateset addition to the band is drummer Gt Skragg, a veteran of the Denver music scene. Expect anything at a MIGHTY 18WHEELER show. The music is loud, The clothes are loud, and the primal energy never stops. Picture AC/DC with pompadours. Nuff said!
