| seven is what its name is meant to represent. The love of music twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Now in San Antonio, TX knows what else is in store for seven. Releasing they're new demo Past to Present and writing new material keeps the band heading in the right direction. Hoping to build a better fan base and get known in south-texas is the goal they seek right now. Still in their early 's they continue to gain music knowlege and grow maturity with they writing style. | We appreciate everyone checkin us out. We finally recorded a couple of originals and a cover song as a first little demo so that you could have something to listen to. These songs were recorded in Boling, TX at Judson and Jose's roommate's house (Will). We'd like to give thanks to Will's dad Mr. Rusty Hubenak for taking the time to help us lay some tracks down and also for contributing a fiddle part on "I Just Wanna Cry". Thanks for all the support and keep posted. A little bit about us: Nathan Sebesta (lead guitar)- He's the hippy in the band. Can pick a six string acoustic or electric like no other young'un you know. years old a Junior from Snook, TX. Has played guitar for over years and sings harmony vocals. We're just glad he finally got a driver's license! Judson Brown (bass guitar)- A.K.A. Triple D. years old from Spring, TX. Self-taught and has played bass for about six years. Was in a band in high school and is currently a Junior Civil Engineering major at Texas A&M College Station, TX. Can slap a Five or Four string bass simultaneoulsy while exerting tongue from mouth and never skippin a beat! Chip Wied (drums)- Newest member to play with the band. From La Grange, TX and has played for over years. Simply BAD ASS! Jose Salazar (lead vocals)- years old from Flatonia, TX. Howls and writes songs for the band. Self-taught guitar rhythm acoustic and electric. Has played for almost years. Resides in College Station with Judson and is finishing M.S. degree in Equine Reproduction. Give'em beer or whiskey and cigarettes and nothin else matters! In case you're wondering where we got the name "Broke " from its pretty simple. "Broke" is just bluntly how we described our poor broke asses' financial status when we first started ("We still are") and " " comes from "Highway " the name of the highway we drive down to go practice in big ol' Snook, TX. |
