"Marty (Stuart) told my parents when I was 3 or 4, to get me a mandolin because of the small neck. So I got one and played it for a while, then later moved to guitar, drums, bass, and just about anything else I could get my hands on. (laughs) It's just a blast goin' around and playin' with other musicians, because no matter who it is, you always learn something.
