Originally from east coast Virginia, Marshall was heavily influenced by blues, gospel, bluegrass, jazz and southern rock genres. His fierce acoustic music is laden with ambient effects and percussive dynamics. Marshall's style is progressive while retaining the sincerity of his roots in music. As a previous member of Stonefed, he helped catapult the band to receive the "best unsigned band in Utah" award from City Weekly/City Search. His latest project includes playing for two Major League Soccer charities, Kicks for Kids and Right to Play, with M.L.S. ReAL Salt Lake.

Take R&B, infuse it with a shot of Funk, add a dash of Hip-Hop, fold in a smidgen of Jazz, and top it with a sprinkle of modern Pop/Rock and you've got 12" REMIX, a six-piece ensemble of seasoned pros based here in Los Angeles. Featuring strong lead vocals with tight harmonies backed by an incredibly funky rhythm section, members of 12" REMIX have played on national tours and recordings with many well-known (and some not-so-well-known) artists and continue to do so today. Two of our vocalists also played lead roles in the national touring companies of several Broadway musicals.
No matter the size of your event, we can provide the appropriate musical accompaniment -- from a guitar/vocalist duo to our standard six-piece "Club Crew" to a big band with brass and saxes to our "Premier" ensemble with 7 vocalists, Latin percussionist, brass and full string section. Growing up from their Rockabilly tinged chops of the past,the boys sound has gotten heavier over the last couple years.In evidence from the latest release "Charmed Life". Bobby Smith(Guitar) and longtime sidekick Jimmy Kolodziej(upright Bass) have carved out a Metal Billy approach that wavers somewhere in between Eddie Cochran and Motorhead. Lateset addition to the band is drummer Gt Skragg, a veteran of the Denver music scene. Expect anything at a MIGHTY 18WHEELER show. The music is loud, The clothes are loud, and the primal energy never stops.
