| Point Blank is an experienced cover band (primarily classic and contemporary rock) that has been playing in the Northern Virginia-DC-Maryland area for 15 years and has a large regional following. The band plays songs from the 60's to today. It has six members: drummer, keyboards, bass, two guitars, and vocalist. The keyboardist, bass player, and one of the guitarists also sing lead and backup vocals. The band members, except for the female vocalist, are in their late 40s and early 50s and are all accomplished musicians. The female vocalist is in her mid-20s and is extremely versatile and comfortable performing rock, blues, and modern country. The band plays a bit of everything from Aerosmith to ZZ Top. The was featured in an in-depth article in The Chantilly Times newspaper in early 2006.

| Overtime was originally formed to be a part time Beach Music Band in 1986 by our Keyboardist, Bo Newcomb, and our Vocalist and Sax Player Extraordinaire, Gregg Browder and has been entertaining crowds constantly ever since. Now featuring five dedicated, professional, and veteran members from the area's most successful and established bands, our musicians have been entertaining crowds cumulatively for well over 125 years! We have a very extensive and flexible repertoire that is guaranteed to please any listener with music that spans the decades. Wedding Standards, Dance, Pop, Classic and Southern Rock, Beach Music, Blues, Motown, and Old School R & B are all part of our set lists. | Matt Wigler is an award-winning blues and jazz piano player. Blues Source says about Matt, “No matter if it’s jazz, funk or gut bucket ragtime, Wigler has a firm grasp on playing it right.” Matt’s music is a fusion of blues, jazz, funk, and New Orleans styles with blues at the core; “bluesion” as Deanna Bogart describes this type of musical fusion. The Baltimore Sun has also described Matt’s music as “…foot-tapping, head-swinging, blues-jazz fusion music…wait until you hear this musician.” Matt plays with his band and has frequently appeared with Deanna Bogart as well as other local bands in the Baltimore area.
In May of , Matt won Best Soloist in the Music in
the Parks competition at Hershey Park.
His debut CD, Matt Wigler XIII, released in June of , is receiving great reviews. According to Tim Richards at BluesSource , “With a pleasant mix of originals and covers, Matt kicks the mule in the tail…”
The CD was produced by blues piano maven Deanna Bogart. She says about Matt: “Whether Matt’s jamming on the Blues Cruise, being invited on stage with great musicians, or at home listening to those who came before, it’s the love and respect for music that truly propels him along.”
Matt has appeared on stage with many musicians including, Buckwheat Zydeco, Tommy Castro, Bobby Rush, Tab Benoit, Ronnie Baker Brooks, Lil’ Ed and the Blues Imperials and Sir Mack Rice. Matt has also played at venues including the State Theatre, the x Club, the Columbia Festival of the Arts, Artscape, and the Legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise. |

| Kia Talein DeJan born Kia Talein Anderson is a native Washingtonian. The Angelic Song Bird, is soaring to new heights with her Debut CD, "Don't Turn Your Back on God." This CD, provides the listener with thought-provoking lyrics, energy and emotion, was co-written by La-Tina Smith and Talein and produced by Jamar DeJan. Whether performing for one or one million, Talein is excited to share the good news through gospel music. While living in Atlanta, GA, she was a featured psalmist on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) and The
Local show "Praise the Lord". Talein was also featured as the up and coming gospel artist on the Candi Staton show, "Say Yes", on TBN. She has also been blessed to minister in David Talbert's gospel stage play, "What Goes Around Comes Around", Toni Foreman's gospel musical stage play, "Thy Kingdom Come", which she recorded the Compact Disc Soundtrack, "Thy Kingdom Come". She was featured on the song "We Need to Hear from You" from the Compact Disc Brandon Broadnax & Co., a Washington, DC gospel group. Talein ministered on the Main Stage located on the Washington National Mall for the th Annual Black Family Reunion Celebration in her hometown Washington, DC. She has ministered in conferences and special services. Talein was the special guest artist for Best-selling Author, TV Advice Expert and Inspirational Speaker Dr. Grace-Livingstone annual relationship conference. She graced the platform with such ministry greats as Rev. Dr. Cynthia Hale, Rev. Dr. Elaine Flake, and Rev. W. Darin Moore just to name a few. |
