In the 7 years of it’s existence, the Latin Jazz Project has strived to express a wide range of musical styles; latin, jazz, progressive and traditional, representing the musical heritage of multiple ethnicities embodied in the complexity of American life. Led by percussionist/guitarist Manuel “Manny” Perez and pianist/arranger Kevin Doyle, Latin Jazz Project features the lead vocalist Carlos Day, percussionist Juancito Bentancourt on timbales, Francisco Quinones on congas and bassist Alex Aponte, all monumental talents.
